how do you want to live your life? what would you want to be written on your tombstone? what do you want to be known for after you die?
it's easy to think about all the noble things that we want to achieve. and we don't want to make mistakes and we don't want to have regrets. who doesn't want to be famous, rich and successful?
but life is about climbing a mountain - it's tough, the weather is unpredictable and you don't always get to reach the summit.
notwithstanding, if we stop climbing, if we stop trying, then when will we ever see ourselves in the reflections of our achievements, whether we succeed or fail. every attempt is an achievement. we only fail when we stop climbing.
"I love those who can smile in trouble, who can gather strength from distress, and grow brave by reflection. 'Tis the business of little minds to shrink, but they whose heart is firm, and whose conscience approves their conduct, will pursue their principles unto death." Leonardo da Vinci
